GPRSRS232 Communicator is a device for serial communication transfer (RS232, RS485) in GSM networks. With the communicator you can: · connect two RS232 devices directly with each other where in both of the communicators the address of the other one is set. If the RS232 device sends data to the serial interface it is sent to the other device directly. · Connect a PC with customer application and a RS232 device. The communication can be started from both sides. · Create a network with random number of RS232 devices and PCs. Advantages: · for operation you need only basic GPRS data rate available by most of the mobile network operators · no public static IP addresses (lack of IP addresses is a very near future, almost present)
· no problems with firewalls
· communicator network safety – authentication algorithm prevents unauthorised network access. There can´t be DOS attacks on separate communicators.
· data route monitoring – automatic connection reestablishment
· fast deployment, easy configuration via the text interface on second serial port
· instant overview of each communicator status on the communication server
· serial communication data transfer transparency
· no need of any custommer´s device and software modifications
· multipoint communication – with one GPRSRS232 communicator it is possible to communicate from more PCs or other GPRSRS232 communicators.
· remote communicator control and configuration with SMS, HTTP, SMTP
All SW equipment necessary for communicator operation is part of the delivery. Technical parameters:
