M2M Talk Server v 1.1
M2MTalk server is used to M2M networking equipment, PCs, mobile phones and so on.
All devices have a unique address in the address space of server and can communicate with any device.
Devices do not need a public or a static IP address, because they are clients M2MTalk server using TCP-IP communications.
To communicate within the M2MTalk server is designed a simple protocol with features:
* Authorization - secure access through a username and password. Used HASH algorithm SHA1.
* The transmission of data packets, up to 65,535 B to address designated receiver.
* Maintain communication isAlive - the period of inactivity is set in the server configuration
* End a connection
For the purposes of communication via GPRS is a protocol adapted so as to minimize confirmation messages.
For example, when transferring data packet corresponds server to the sender about the status
of the transaction only when error status, when data can not be deliver to receiver.
M2MTalk server is ready for use in two versions:
* Public M2MTalk server to test communications and traffic of few facilities.
* Custom installation M2MTalk server on customer's hardware. For Windows, Linux, Unix.
